How many words are in The Great Gatsby?

I'm trying to figure out how what I'm writing competes length-wise with other novels, and I read that the average short novel is 20k words. TGG didn't seem like it was nearly that long when I was reading it; has anyone found some kind of online-version of the book or another way to get a word count from it?
