What is the best business that makes a lot of money and you can do at home?

I do not want to work for the rest of my life for someone else. I would like to eventually start an at home business. However, there are so many scams out here and you have to invest money in packets and brochures that these marketing companies want to send you. I feel that cannot help me, that is why I'm reaching out to you guys. I feel you guys have the most information AND are you guys are the most intelligent with experienced answers. Therefore, everyone can you suggest businesses that will make a lot of money and that I can do at home? I would appreciate especially those that respond that have done this.
