Since we no longer have a working Democracy, should we select a Royal Family, or Just let Corporations rule us?

If only the Osbourns were American. They'd be the perfect monarchy upon which to base our society & governance. They're probably be more efficient & less creepy even with the penchant for biting the heads off bats & love of gothic architecture.
