What's wrong with Nicole Richie? Why is she so skinny?

Doesn't any1 else worry about that poor girl? I mean, she looks like she's dying! I know I don't know her, but I'm scared for her! She's down to about 85 lbs. now at 5'2! If she gets skinnier and skinnier she will eventually die! Are those magazines (such as Star, Life and Style) photo-shopping those pics of her? Or is she really that freaking skinny? Just looking at her I feel like I'm going to faint!
