What is your position on Affirmative Action? Do you think it served it's purpose and society should "phase" ?

I think Affirmative Action is a good thing, maybe not very noticeable nowadarys, but I'm sure it was a big deal some years back. My only problem with it is when a company hires someone who is not as qualified in order to meet their affirmative action standards...
