I got a ticket and the officer informed me that I could take DD yet the city says differently...(cont.)?

Did the city say why you couldn't take DD? Probably has something to do with the offense charged. How fast were you speeding? Were there other factors involved? Do you have outstanding tickets from another state? Find out why. They'll explain it to you, then maybe you can work around it. Either by having the ticket ammended in court, or pleaing it down to a lesser charge
