How would Palestinian control of Jordan affect the internal Palestinian situation in Palestine itself?

Ethnic Palestinians are now a majority within Jordan. Presuming the eventual transition of the present monarchy into a constitutional monarchy - in effect a democracy - the ethnic Palestinians as a majority would obviously control the government. In what ways might this eventual cirstance affect the status of the Palestinians with the West Bank and the Gaza Strip?
