How good is it? Room for any improvements?

You write good...but if I were you, I would ditch this whole story idea and write a story which isn't about vampires because there are too many vampire novels, and if you wanted it published then because of the ammount of people writing vampire stories it would be very hard for you to publish it and by the time you finish writing, nobody will be reading about vampires.
