What does it really mean when?

I texted this guy saying " hey I really need to talk to you, if i can call will u send me a please call me or a missed call? x from Dannielle" 2 days later he phoned me and said "hey hu is this?" and when i said "Dannielle" he hung up.. now im confused? what does that mean.. i have been racking my brain wondering?
